Bubble Elements
  1. Name of the project

  2. Project location – specific street address for identification/pointer on the Google Earth map (default: component office)

  3. Name of component(s) engaged in the project (w/ link info, optional)

  4. Notable quotation (35 words max.) a statement from local official or citizen preferred

  5. Name(s) of major participants (max. 5), including
    1. key local leaders/stakeholders
    2. public sponsors/partners
    3. AIA150 Champion(s) and other key organizer(s)

  6. Listing of key project moments, with dates/events, e.g. “initial planning meeting 6/16/06, charrette 4/15/07; exhibit at Arlington City Hall 5/07; presentation/publication 9/07” (max. 5)

  7. Project abstract (125 words max.) this is the text in the Google bubble introducing (as applicable)
    1. key historical references relevant to the project (if any)
    2. issues being addressed by the project
    3. status of the project or statement of design alternatives that have been generated

  8. “Back story” (1000 words max):  a comprehensive summary of the project and its expected or achieved result complete with multiple images.  This should be a substantive discussion of the issues being addressed, the challenges, and the various design alternatives being explored.  The back story will be loaded on your project page on www.AIA150.org.  Links from key words and ideas in the back story may be added such as a link to the communities web site, a key project information source, a project web site if it exists, etc.

  9. Illustrations, with captions (submitted as high resolution jpeg images) relevant to project, ideally including:
    1. Image of the design alternatives, the project site, perhaps before/after, or other environmental context of project
    2. Other relevant image (optional)
  10. Copyright release form with image credit (10 words max) credit may be an individual’s name, firm or the component name
