ZONING RE-VISION – An Interactive Toolkit for Revising Chicago’s Zoning
Map
AIA Chicago, at the invitation of the City of
Chicago Department of Planning and Zoning, will develop a series of
community workshops in order to participate in reviewing and developing
zoning map updates. The plan is to develop and refine interactive
computer based tools in a collaborative process while engaging elected
representatives of community government, individual community
representatives and the general public. A tool kit of effective
representative “real” examples will be developed to
illustrate talking points and to provide graphic illustration.
